The classic Golden Triangle in four unhurried days — Delhi, the Taj Mahal at Agra, and the palaces of Jaipur, entirely private.
Why you’ll love this journey
- The Taj Mahal at sunrise, before the crowds
- Old and New Delhi — Mughal forts and quiet tombs
- Amber Fort and the palaces of the Pink City
- Your own car, driver and licensed guides throughout — never a group
Day by day
Day 1 · Delhi
Arrive and discover Delhi. Your driver meets you at the airport and, once you have settled in, your guide begins the tour of the capital as your timing allows — the Mughal grandeur of Old Delhi around the Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk, or the calm of Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar in New Delhi, with a drive past India Gate and the government buildings of Lutyens’ Delhi.
Day 2 · Agra
Delhi to Agra, and Agra Fort. After breakfast you leave the capital on the Yamuna Expressway and reach Agra in about three and a half hours. The afternoon belongs to Agra Fort, the red-sandstone seat of Mughal power, its marble palaces looking across the river to the Taj. As the day cools, we stop at Mehtab Bagh, the riverside garden that frames the Taj Mahal at sunset — the perfect prelude to seeing it up close at dawn.
Day 3 · Jaipur
Taj Mahal at sunrise, then Jaipur. You reach the Taj Mahal at first light, when the marble shifts from grey to rose to white and the crowds are still thin — the finest hour to see it, your guide unfolding the story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. After a late breakfast the road turns west to Jaipur, breaking at Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s red-sandstone capital abandoned almost intact four centuries ago. You reach the Pink City by evening, the night at leisure.
Day 4 · Jaipur & Delhi
Jaipur, then the road back to Delhi. The morning is given to the Amber Fort in its best light and, back in the city, the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar and the Hawa Mahal. In the afternoon the road returns you to Delhi, about five to six hours, timed to your onward flight.

Common questions
Can you do the Golden Triangle in 4 days?
Yes — four days is a comfortable short trip, with a little more time in each city than a three-day dash. You see the Taj Mahal at dawn, Agra Fort, the Amber Fort and Jaipur’s palaces, plus space for a market or a slower morning.
How is the 4-day tour different from the 3-day?
The extra day adds breathing room — an unhurried second morning in Delhi or Jaipur for markets, a workshop or a quieter monument — rather than new cities. The route stays Delhi → Agra → Jaipur, private and chauffeured.
How much driving is there on the 4-day tour?
Three main drives: Delhi to Agra (about 3–3.5 hours), Agra to Jaipur (about 4.5 hours via Fatehpur Sikri) and Jaipur back to Delhi (about 5–6 hours), all in your own air-conditioned car with an experienced chauffeur.
